I was happy to find Phreak, with their fun branding and their vibrant, imaginative toys. There aren’t a lot of UK based, fantasy dildo specialists so I’m glad they’re able to fill this niche!
I purchased their ‘One’ design, which I found to be the most attractive, most affordable and right size for my needs – It’s a pride month special, with lesbian flag colours dripping down the shaft. The texture is like no toy I’ve owned before – matte rather than glossy, it looks and feels like quality, since this surface would have to be a very intentional part of the mold-making process. The matte texture diffuses the light, making it beautiful on display. Stamped into the base of the shaft is the ‘P’ Phreak logo, which is a nice touch. It’s soft density, and so I’ve had some minor issues with harness rings keeping a grip on it, and found it requires additional guidance on occasion, where it seems to choose the path of least resistance and flops in the wrong direction entirely.
Every time I purchase from them I buy minis as an extra treat, so I have 2 bags worth of tiny Phreak dildos. The colour, size and design of these is up to chance, which I find very exciting! Minis can also be a good way to see a 3D rendition of their other designs, so certain toys I formerly wasn’t interested in are now on my ‘To Purchase’ list after getting a mini replica and loving them.
Phreak is an eco conscious brand, packaging their toys in compostable bags, inside recyclable shipping boxes. For padding, they use rainbow coloured packing pellets! I’m unsure if these are recyclable, but they’re definitely worth reusing – I use them to package gifts, and store delicate items. Additionally, every delivery I’ve had has contained vegan sweets!
Overall, I love everything about Phreak because they make high quality products for a reasonable price, but continue to be both creative and adventurous. They have very well regarded fantasy toys, but they’re not scared to sell you a bodysafe carrot, beer bottle or traffic cone!
